Change of Scenery

We're on our second trip away from home since G died - back to my parents' house.

A change of scenery does a lot of good.

Being out in the country. Being away from our house. Being with other people.

I feel lighter in my heart. Not as desperate or alone.

It helps that I rode a horse today too. Felt good. And I helped with barn chores with I love almost as much as riding.
