Shaky Hands

This morning I was reading my devotional off my phone and I noticed that my left hand was shaking. It felt really odd and uncomfortable.

And then I remembered how G's hands would shake - nearly constantly but some days much worse than others. A side effect of the prednisone he was on to protect his transplanted heart. When it got really bad he would say, "Aghh!" and wring out his hands, trying to stop the trembling.

And I thought to myself - that's one more thing he's free from.

So much suffering - in big ways and little ways. And now he's with Jesus. And whole. And free.
